Getting Fit

Hi it's been a while since my last post on to the Blog, due to us filming, it has took up loads of my spare time plus I'm still really busy preparing behind the scenes make up and effects such as body parts and the actual Werewolf costume is going through once again another makeover.Since i came up with the idea for a sequel to Dense Fear early last year i noticed that you never see a fat Werewolf, from all Werewolf movies i have watched the Transformation scenes where the guys top is ripped off always seems to have an Athletic or muscle bound looking dude who plays the part. This made me take a long hard look at myself as i was very out of shape, i used to tell people my chest had dropped down for a rest. From a young age i took up Boxing and had a fairly good shape up until my late Twenties, but then i hit thirty and everything turned wider and dropped, i knew it was time to get back in shape, "i mean come on! i didn't want to be the first fat Werewolf" call me vain, but i desperately needed to get back in shape and doing the film certainly give me a good kick up the but.I began Training in May of last year 2006, since then i have gradually stepped up my training from twice a week to five days a week, i take time out on the weekends to rest my body.I haven't really changed my diet as such but i have cut down on the amount of crap i was eating such as chocolate and crisps (chips)I'm now feeling much better for it and have dropped down a waist size to a 32" waist. It is unbelievable how this movie has totally motivated me and changed my life style for the better, so i would say from my own experience to anyone out there wanting to loose weight or wanting to get into shape, just give yourself some kind of goal and really put your mind to it because it is defiantly possible, all it takes is dedication and a little bit of patience.P.S i hate bragging and blowing my own trumpet but for me this has been a big acheivment.check out my before and after pics
